Wow I was so impressed with this hotel/camping business. Our room was immaculate and perfect for our last minute Zion trip. We only stayed a night but if we stayed longer we surely would have used many of the facilities it offers (fire pit, tennis court, cornhole). The bathrooms were very clean and towels were provided. I would recommend bringing a toiletry bag that can hang, because there isn’t much shelf space but hey that’s just part of camping! Our party of two adults stayed in the deluxe room, it was perfect in size. The beds were comfortable and the room stayed warm; I would recommend bringing an eye mask if you are sensitive to light. we enjoyed the coffee at the main office. We brought our own cooler with drinks & snacks, highly recommend since there are limited stores around it. I will definitely be returning to this Lodge and hopefully bringing the family with. It’s perfect distance to Zion.

This place was lovely. Marshmallow roasting sticks provided. It was tiny, the neighbors were chill, we made a fire. What more can you ask for? I didn't rate the "service" because we didn't need anything, and we never talked to anyone - which is a plus in my book. I gave the location 4 stars - depends on what you're looking for. If you want seclusion, this is it! If you want to get up in the morning and find a coffee shop or breakfast, you're going to drive 20 minutes. I highly recommend this place!

We have now stayed twice at Gooseberry Lodge and are working on a vacation plan for a third trip that includes staying here. This is a well thought out establishment with so many small touches that add up to a great stay. The cabins are clean, the mattress excellent and loved having our own little front porch with chairs, a fire pit and a picnic table. There is is a play area for kids, they are pet friendly and I absolutely love their hospitality room. We were able to do laundry while we were there, and loved the little things like plates and plasticware being available for your meals. The cabins are about a 40 minutes to Zion. I was concerned at first about that drive, but it was an easy 40 minute drive. Also, based on our trip plans which included visiting two state parks, the cabins were centrally located for all of our activities. We have now stayed in a queen cabin and this last time a king cabin. I love that they have a number of choices in cabins. This is the perfect place for a single person looking for a safe, clean place to stay that is affordable up to a retired couple like us that want a few extra amenities. We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation and can’t wait to come back to Gooseberry Lodge.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. WOW. Absolutely an incredible stay. The value cannot be beat. The staff are quick to reply, incredibly accommodating, and very kind. The view is incredible. The cabins are cute and quaint. We got one queen deluxe cabin the first night, it was nice to have a private bathroom. We ended up staying a second night and got the bunk cabin. The shared bathrooms were not the best at the start of the day, but were cleaned up quickly and it was nice to have individual bathrooms and showers, making it more private than a campground. They have snacks and campfire necessities at the office for purchase, for more than a reasonable price. Everything was convenient, directions for checkin were clear, and extra cooking materials provided. Thank you for making this stay fantastic.

We had an amazing stay at the standard cabins here before visiting Zion NP. The cabin is small but had all the essentials like mirror, table, chairs, microwave and fridge, Air conditioner and a small heater and bunk beds with comforters and pillows. The toilet and shower are shared. The cabin floor was carpeted and so it was a bliss. The view from the cabin was nice too. We didn’t get the check-in instructions and had followed up and got the necessary information for the check in. Would highly recommend and would stay again in the future trips.

Imagine the best camping of your life, now imagine it in close proximity to one of the most beautiful hiking places on earth. It has all the nature, but also all of the comfort. When you cook your meat over the charcoal and sit back, it’s like nothing wise. The climate, the lack of bugs, the comfort, everything is so perfect that you cant imagine it being so good. The hosts are amazing, receptive and dedicated. This place deserves all the best. A unique once in a lifetime experience if you’re a naturalist and looking for a place close to Zion. 10/10, thoroughly impressed. Quiet comfort but also fairly private good for solo, duo or maybe family + very young kids. Pet friendly. Just an unbelievable spot to stay, do yourself a service and skip the motel in favour of this place!

Fun little spot. Note! There was no bathroom in the actual room. There were shared bathrooms outside. I'm not sure the website makes that super clear. The beds were memory foam and very comfy, and the bedding was nice as well. No TV. Ac unit worked well. We even had a small fridge/freezer combo and a microwave next to a cute dining room tanle with 4 chairs. If you are prepared for the bathroom situation, it's a great little cabin. Fire pit available with great view. Also, fairly dark skies at night... stars were excellent. No room key is needed as the management will send you a code for the door on your assigned unit. Pets are welcome for a fee. There was also a playground for kids and a pickle ball court. Fairly low tech, but I kinda dig that! We enjoyed our stay.

This is a lovely cabin experience with just about everything you need and want. Located an easy drive from Zion National Park. Check in and out is very simple and private. They stock most goods you could need such as cooking utensils, coffee, and more. I’d recommend bringing your own lighters, charcoal (for the grills), and other grill supplies since the shred equipment can run low/out. Overall this was a great value and very comfortable - I’d highly recommend it!
